Art is a way to tell a story without words. For us at delabel, our story is woven into every designer toy (label) we create. Being native to the 3D scene, we couldn’t help but fall in love with these tangible pieces of creativity that could literally be held, and playing with real-life, touchable toys feels like a perfect match — it’s like bringing our designs off the screen.
As for collecting them ourselves — whoever said artists can’t be fans? We also confess: that we love collecting these toys, although our wallets might disagree! Maybe not being able to buy them all is part of why we love making them, if you can’t buy ’em, create ‘em…or so the artist’s version of an old saying goes.
